The Investor Awareness Index includes:

1. Publicly traded companies that have requested a score by filling out the questionnaire
2. Companies who have not requested a score, but were simply chosen by the Index

Every company listed in The Index may receive an official version of its score in the form of the Investor Awareness Index Scoring Logo. To learn how publicly traded companies can use the Scoring Logo, please visit our Benefits and Uses page.

Companies Who Filled Out the Questionnaire

After a company representative registers and completes the Investor Awareness Index Questionnaire, The Index will begin verifying the responses that were submitted. The company representative may be contacted during the verification process.

All answers are verified before a score is calculated.

If all answers CAN be verified:

Once all of the answers are verified, a score is calculated and the company representative that filled out the questionnaire will be notified via email of the company's score. The email will include instructions for requesting the Official Scoring Logo, which can be freely placed on a company's website, in press releases, in company profiles, in newsletters, in RSS feeds, in internal communications, and on other company literature.

Concurrent with this email, the company name, trading symbol, and score will be listed on one of the Investor Awareness Indexes according to its market capitalization, along with the names, trading symbols, and scores of other companies.

If an answer can NOT be verified:

If an answer cannot be verified, an email may be sent to the company representative that submitted the questionnaire indicating that a score cannot be calculated by the Investor Awareness Index. This email will provide instructions regarding how to assist in the process of verifying the answers provided.

Companies Who Were Chosen By The Index

Any company that did not formally request a score, but which The Index chose to score on its own, can visit Request Investor Awareness Index Scoring Logo to request an official version of its score.
