Stock Market Prediction is the act of attempting to forecast the future value of a company’s stock. While a successful prediction of a stock's future price could yield significant profit, an unsuccessful prediction could lead to a significant loss. The Investor Awareness Index is not a stock market prediction tool. The score a company receives and the values of its stock are independent of one another. The Investor Awareness Index ratings provide a qualitative and quantitative analysis of a company’s investor awareness initiatives. While not engaged in stock market prediction, the Investor Awareness Index can be a useful tool to help determine how much a company is doing to make and keep potential investors and the investment community aware of its offering. It is this information that can be useful to determine the potential value of a stock. An investment based upon an informed decision is more likely to be successful than a prediction.
